Prior to the survey Matthew called to run through what would happen on the day, and to ask if there was anything in particular we were concerned about. The survey was thorough and very helpful, and subsequent follow up calls and emails were invaluable. We've been so impressed with the service and we will recommend Horde to everyone."

"Horde group surveyed our house back in October 2024, I complained 2-3 months after as we had found our gas meters didn’t meet regulations, windows faulty and many many more faults that should of come up in a survey, today February 2026 we have had a drainage company in and have found a sealed drain cover that should have come up in a survey and doesn’t meet building regulations, this company missed so many issues with our property I wouldn’t even recommend them to survey a caravan, we have had to payout stupid amounts of money to get things sorted that should Have been listed in this survey we paid for, completely have been let down by this company"

"I used HORDE for a homebuyer’s survey and, as it was my first experience with this type of process, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Matt guided us through each step clearly and put our minds at ease. The report itself was detailed and thorough, giving us the confidence to proceed with our purchase. "We were really disappointed with the service we received. We were advised to purchase a L3 survey after being unsure about which to go for. The surveyor, Matthew, told us it was "his mission" to prove to us why we needed a L3. The reality of this was he inundated his report with issues that did not exist. We therefore spent months trying to sort through what was an issue that needed raising with sellers and what wasnt. We have found absolute proof that much of his report is incorrect and can easily be seen by the lay person. Due to this poor reporting we therefore spent much of our resources on investigating matters that were factually incorrect. And byproduct were unable to focus on other matters that actually were issues but were underreported. We therefore did not achieve any meaningful negotiations and are stuck fixing the issues that were underreported by surveyor. When the surveyor sent us his "final report", it was actually a draft version, we would later find out. We spent days going through his "final report", which was very much trying to see the wood through the trees. When we then had a meeting much of our notes were now outdated and the meeting was therefore largely fruitless. We were not compensated for this wasted time, despite asking. His report was also tainted with his personal views on the sellers taste in decor, which is irrelevant. All in all, we feel that the service we got was poor and ineffectual. It made the entire purchase far more difficult and lengthy than it needed to be. Ultimately we spent a lot of time and money making enquiries about issues raised by Matthew that did not exist. We do not recommend."
