She provides a pack of handy tips and useful information before the meeting so we have an idea of what to consider when embarking on a project. Carrie came to our house for an initial discussion about what we would like and she agreed its feasibility. Carrie had allowed enough time to extend the meeting if we wanted to and we asked Carrie to measure up and put a plan together. We sat around our kitchen table discussing ideas and finishing with an outline of a drawing plan, all done at one meeting. Carrie then took that away and produced a professional drawing which she sent to us a couple of weeks later, with further information, costings and contacts. "We recently moved to the area and bought a house in Netley. As our forever home we want to extend it, particularly to add a downstairs bathroom, utility room and extend the living space. We also wanted to make the most of our lovely garden incorporating this into our living space. As newbies to the area, no local contacts and having never done this sort of project before, we were unsure how to start. From the steps that need to be taken, the planning processes to be tackled, the different options to consider for heating, lighting, doors etc. Most important of all though is the key contacts she has built up. We are currently working with her recommended Architect; Alex and our plans are in for approval. I feel we would have struggled to get to this position so quickly without Carrie’s help.
