"Had a young man with curly hair (blonde dye at the top) cold call at my door, hand me a leaflet and launch into pressure sell tactics immediately. I have had them knock on previously. The guy before took up a lot of my time and begged me to take a quote as "ill get paid if you do." Didn't want to get into a long discussion as before so I handed the leaflet back and said "I'm not interested, thank you" before closing the door. He swore at me just as the door was closing. I told him to get off my property... He said "What are you gonna do about it? " followed by another expletive. I suggested I'd let his company know about his behaviour. He smirked and said "call them" before walking off. Based on how casual he was, no doubt this has happened before and he's used to facing no consequences from his employer. Sad to think about vulnerable people being exposed to him and his ilk trying to exploit them with disgusting sales tactics."

"Door knocker came said someone can come and give us a quote that will take 15 mins. The guy came the next day and ended up being here for 2.5 hours. A very friendly chap, clearly just doing his job, but I made it clear 6 times I am not going to make a decision today and they kept going back and fourth on the phone to the office to get the price down. Ultimately wasted my morning, we both left with nothing. Please change this stupid marketing / sales process. I want to know what the price will be and then I can do my own research. Felt like a massive scam by the end with a sour taste in my mouth."

The £2,000 price drop also didn’t feel like a real discount — more like an inflated starting price to make the reduction look impressive. I would have preferred a simple, straightforward discussion about cost, installation, and value rather than a long sales pitch."
