"Andy and Pete and their team helped us with an extension to the front of our bungalow to add a bedroom, modify an existing bedroom and extend the hallway. They were friendly, knowledgeable and supportive from the point of agreeing to complete the work right through to the end. They communicated with us at each stage and supported us when slight amendments were required to modify and improve the existing hallway from the original architectural drawings and structural calculations. We remained living in the property throughout the build and they made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. They interacted well with the whole family and made sure the children felt included in the process as the rooms were being built for them. Their quote was competitive and they stuck to budget. We would definitely recommend them if anyone is considering extending or improving their home and are planning to ask them to complete further work for us in the future."

"Basset Carpentry built our loft conversion adding a bedroom, ensuite and home office to our house. From the first visit we were impressed by their friendly and professional manner. Both my husband and I work from home so we went into the process with some trepidation about the potential disruption. We need not have worried. Pete and his team were mindful of us working at all times, respectful of work commitments and warned us of very disruptive work before it occurred. Communication was great throughout, and the building work completed to a very high standard on time and on budget. They went above and beyond to ensure that the house was left in a safe and clean state for our two young boys at the end of each day. "Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation!
