The issues were quickly identified as a faulty appliance and a separate issue with an ancient fuse box, something I knew had needed updating for a while. Mike explained everything clearly, and the first issue was dealt with, and also the fuse box made safe. Mike then returned asap to replace the fuse box with a modern consumer unit; this was in a fiddly access area, but Mike suggested a solution that made it accessible, and the result was a nice tidy job. "I called Mike as I had hit a cable in a wall first thing on a Sunday morning, which caused us to lose electricity to the whole house, by early afternoon he had been over, created a temporary fix to get us back up and running and promised to be over first thing in the morning to replace the damaged wire. True to his word he did just that, within an hour he and his Daughter had replaced the damaged wire. I found them both to be polite, friendly and their work to be of the highest standard.
